Yamaha’s Shift Dampener System (SDS) propellers greatly reduce the noise associated with shifting an engine in and out of gear by absorbing the forces generated when forward and reverse gears are engaged.

This powerful 5.3 Litre, 32-valve, Direct Action 60⁰, V8 engine incorporates a sophisticated electronic fuel injection (EFI) system, lightweight forged pistons and four over-sized valves per cylinder, delivering exceptional thrust and maximum power.

Yamaha's ongoing weight-saving program has delivered an innovative in-bank exhaust system, with the manifold integrated into the cylinder head. Along with other weight-saving technologies and materials, helps to create a supremely compact and light engine design.

This optional system for twin and triple installations automatically synchronises engines to allow a simple one-touch start and stop capability, for ease of use. 

Using Local Area Network (LAN) technology, these digital round gauges provide accurate and real-time tachometer, speed and fuel management stats, including fuel flow/consumption/economy (up to two tanks), trim level, battery voltage, push button trolling speed adjustments and more. 

The electronic throttle valve provides sure and more precise valve opening and closing according to each engine temperature and atmospheric condition. This system works in tune with the fuel injection and ignition systems, to deliver incredible response and exceptional fuel economy.

The Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) advances and retards the camshaft timing according to the engine RPMs. This in combination with the electronically controlled single throttle valve system and long intake manifold boosts low and mid-range torque for optimum acceleration.  

Yamaha’s variable trolling control allows the skipper to precisely adjust the engine’s idling speed from 600 to 1000 RPM in 50 RPM increments. The ability to finely tune the trolling speed allows fisherman to perfect their lure presentation when chasing different species of fish.

This high definition, colour display uses Local Area Network (LAN) technology to deliver accurate and real-time stats for single and twin engine setups. The customisable day/night gauge delivers information on fuel flow/ economy/ consumption, trim level, battery charge, speed, push button trolling and more.  

This high resolution, five inch, fully customisable LCD display can monitor up to three Digital Electronic Controlled (DEC) outboards. Data includes trip distance, water depth and temperature, shift position,  fuel flow/ consumption/ economy, rpm, trim level, oil pressure, engine temp, battery charge and more.

Our latest and most advanced display has been developed for Yamaha's range of Digital Electronic Control (DEC) outboards. The user-friendly, seven-inch touchscreen is fully customisable and can monitor up to four outboards. Functions include GPS navigation and the ability to connect to a fish finder, sonar, radar and camera.

Yamaha's optional Customer Outboard Protection (Y-COP) engine immobiliser system is easy to use and highly effective in stopping unauthorised start-ups when your boat is unattended. Simply push the button on the neat and simple remote to lock and unlock the engine.
